This is a mantra from Kundalini Yoga used to connect with and open your heart center.

One way to use this mantra as a meditation:

  • Sit with a straight spine in a quiet space on the floor or in a chair.

  • Close the eyes and focus them up and in toward your third eye point (between the eyebrows).

  • Place your left hand over your heart center, with your right hand on top.

  • Feel your heart beat and your chest vibrate as you chant the mantra for 3, 7, or 11 minutes.

  • Allow the breathe to come naturally as you chant.

  • Be an observer of your thoughts. Continue to gently bring your focus back to your heart center and the sound current.

You can also use the mantra:

  • While driving or doing your daily chores. Chant along or just listen.

  • Have the mantra playing in your home at a low or high volume on repeat to increase the vibration of your home.

  • Use the mantra as a lullaby to help you fall asleep.
